Saturday, I had a surprise Birthday Party (that I of course knew nothing about), it was fun, but I’m not big on surprises, and I really don’t like that much attention or that many people. But once I got over the initial shock I had fun! the reason that they were able to surprise me was they planed it for the 19th, then changed it to the 12th, neither of which was actually on my birthday. Tomorrow is my real Birthday (16!) and since I have so many thing I have to do tomorrow I won’t have time to post. which is why I’m posting about my birthday which isn’t till tomorrow. and while i’m on the subject of birthdays HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF!!! (A day early).
it’s valentines day and my parents went on a double date with my sister and her boyfriend tonight, and since I had nothing better to do I got the job of babysitting my three younger brothers.and since I’m supposed to be watching my brothers I need to go and do that.

Thursday (Jan. 27th) I made a tape of some songs that I really felt like listening to:

Oh… shoot I don’t know the name of this song but I love it, it’s about how the flowers and the ring and all that kind of stuff doesn’t matter, because she has his love. It’s just a beautiful song.

Okay, so last Saturday was my Grandparents (on my dad’s side) 50th wedding anniversary. They had a party at the wyndham Marriott hotel. All the family was their and some extended family and close friends. It was a nice party, with food and a live Jazz band; the music was good but sorta depressing.
They received a proclamation from the mayor of Roanoke naming January 29th 2005 Gordon and Betty Hancock 50th wedding anniversary celebration day (try fitting that in one square of your calendar). They also received other things like that, and everything that they received had to be read aloud, it was sorta boring, but it was okay because there were only a couple. But the worst part of the night was when I
Sang (Valentine) I was so nervous, I was shaking like a leaf, I’m surprised I got through the whole thing without breaking down. But overall the party was a hit; my grandparents were so happy that no matter what happened to me it was worth it.
